Q1 PLUS is equipped with a specially developed industrial coating that enhances the external abrasion resistance of the rope.
This coating provides a lubricating effect between the individual fibers and also improves UV resistance. Due to its abrasion-resistant coating, Q1 PLUS rope is widely used in applications where wear resistance and high tensile strength are required, such as rope for manure spreaders. It is also used as a winch cable in rugged terrain in forestry, utilizing this coated line made of UHMWPE/Dyneema® fibers.
Additionally, it is frequently used as a mooring line in shipping and fishing.
